REGISTRATION

Registrations can be made from March 15, 2017 and will only be considered valid after confirmation of payment via deposit, bank transfer or through PayPal. Payment statement will be requested at the time of registration, which can not be finalized without it.

 

Registration payments by deposit, bank transfer or PayPal can be made until October 15, 2017, according to the values shown in the tables below. Registration and payment will also be accepted at the beginning of the event (October 23 and 24), cash only (Brazilian reais).

Subscriptions through PayPal will have an increase of 7% over the original amount, due to the administrative fees.

How to register:

 

Step 1: Make the payment by bank transfer, deposit or through PayPal and save the voucher containing your name in a visible and readable form (if necessary, write the name on the voucher) in PDF or JPG format.

 

Step 2: If you are a undergraduate, graduate or postdoctoral student or fellow, you will also need to attach a digital copy (PDF or JPG) of a document proving your student status at the time of your registration: valid student identity, containing data from the Institution, course and expiration date, or proof of enrollment updated and signed by the person responsible for the course with the end date of the enrollment. If you are applying on the day of the event, also carry a document proving your status as a student. Keep in mind that proof of student liaison is indispensable (for undergraduates, graduate or postdoctoral students and fellows) and must be of an official nature.

 

With these documents ready, you can start your application!

 

Step 3: Follow the instructions to fill out the registration form below. In the upper right corner you can select the english version of the application form. Be careful to fill in the requested information and, mainly, correctly inform your email, because it is through it that the organizing committee will contact you. The payment statement of the registration fee and the proof of institution enrollment will be requested in pdf or jpg format, and the registration can not be completed without these items.

 

You can submit your abstract at the time of registration or later, through the link that will be sent after confirming the registration. More information about abstracts will be available on the Abstracts page on the event homepage.

 

Step 4: After completing the registration, you will receive an e-mail containing your registration ID and the link to edit the registration form. Please keep this information carefully so that you can submit your abstract (s) later.

 

Step 5: Within 7 days you will receive an email containing the confirmation and registration receipt.

ATTENTION:

  1. The date of deposit or bank transfer will be the date considered valid for the amount to be paid by the enrollee, not the date of registration on the form.

  2. Instructions for the preparation and submission of abstracts can be found in the topic Abstracts.

  3. Registration cancellation will be accepted until September 11, 2017, when requested by letter sent to the Organizing Committee of the XXIII Simpósio de Mirmecologia. The refund will be 70% of the amount paid, the percentage of 30% being withheld as administrative fee. Registrations after September 11, 2017 will not be eligible for reimbursement. The letter of request for reimbursement should include the registration data (registration ID) and the bank account details (for reimbursement). The letter must be signed and, along with a copy of the identity card, it must be sent in PDF or JPG format to register.mirmeco2017@gmail.com. The refund will be made after the event.

  4. Registration at the event will entitle you to*:

  • Identification badge and folder with material related to the event;

  • Access to the opening session, welcome cocktail and cultural presentations;

  • Participation in plenary conferences and round tables;

  • Access to poster and coffee-break sessions;

  • Certificate of participation;

  • Event program and annals.

* Guest registration does not include folder with material related to the event, certificate of participation or event program and annals, as well as the right to submit abstracts to be presented in the event.
